New baby? Here is what the first two weeks actually need

The first two weeks home with a newborn are a beautiful blur. You are running on almost no sleep, learning a brand new human, and healing at the same time. This is not the season to be scrubbing bathrooms or figuring out dinner from scratch.

1. Meals that require nothing from you

In these early days, the goal is food that appears without a decision attached. Meals prepped ahead, easy to grab with one hand while you feed the baby. If someone offers to help, let them bring food. If no one is nearby, this is exactly what a Reset is built to cover.

2. Laundry that does not pile into a mountain

Newborn laundry multiplies overnight. Keeping it washed, folded, and put away is one of those small things that keeps a house from feeling like it is closing in on you. It is worth handing off.

3. One calm room

You do not need the whole house spotless. You need one space, usually where you feed and rest, that feels clean and settled. A tidy main living area does more for your nervous system in these weeks than a deep-cleaned garage ever could.

Protect the fourth trimester. The dishes can be someone else's job for a couple of weeks. Your only job is your baby and yourself.

Our New Baby Reset was built around exactly these three things, so new and expecting parents can focus on the part that matters. If you know someone in this season, it also makes one of the most thoughtful gifts you can give.
